NPC Patient Release Calculation

This program is intended as a mathematical aid only. The criteria outlined in USNRC Regulatory Guide 8.39 must be met prior to the release of any patient.

 

This program calculates the dose to other individuals from a patient who was administered a dosage of 131I sodium iodide.  The procedure is described Regulatory Guide 8.39, April 1997.  The default values are those proposed in the Regulatory Guide.   If patient-specific values have been measured, those values should be used below.
